Australia Delivers Covid-19 Aid to Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Australia has donated Covid-19 medical and personal protective equipment to Cambodia as a humanitarian assistance to the kingdom’s fight against the pandemic. It was handed over by the Australian Ambassador Pablo Kang to the Secretary of State of the Ministry of National Defence Moeung Samphan.

The Covid-19 medical aid includes over 20,000 gloves, 50,000 maks, nearly 4000 bandages and 10,000 testing kits.

The Australian Ambassador has released a statement saying, “This medical equipment handover reinforces Australia's commitment to supporting Cambodia's future development, including its health and economic recovery from COVID-19 and our bilateral defence cooperation.”
